The Chevy Volt is a good idea though expensive at $40,000 plus. Having said that, GM's next version of the Chevy Volt will be a revolutionary vehicle exhibiting speed, power and range comparable to non-hybrid vehicles.

And way in the future automobiles will be 100 percent electric powered as a direct result of the Chevy Volt. In others words, pundits are knockig the Chevy Volt for not being as good as advertised. However, the Chevy Volt is drawing customers back to American car showrooms and providing GM with valuable sales and engineering data.
